Company ProfileGertner Audio is a trade name of Gertner Audio Incorporated. It was founded on the principles of bringing clarity, durability, and ease of use to the home loudspeaker market. As you may know, every individual has his or her own preferences in the way a speaker should sound. So, building the ultimate speaker to please everyone is impossible. However, we saw many problems that existed in the current marketplace that could be addressed to help people in their quest for better sound.
One of the problems people face in their systems is the lack of consistency in the sound. Many speakers are designed primarily to get a smooth frequency response at the normal measured 1 watt area. However, in real life, the speaker behaves inconsistently at different levels. Those distortions are caused from compression effects, as well as things such as excessive heat buildup. Since the music you listen to has many levels, those factors often deprive listeners of a full, dynamic sound. Gertner Audio strives to achieve a more consistent sound in its products.
Another problem other speakers exhibit is a sensitivity to the listening environment. Many times a room can cause huge dips and peaks in the response of a speaker, causing further degradation of sound quality. Gertner Audio, with its angled port series, has made an attempt to reduce these effects with its patented angled port technology. This allows speakers much more freedom of placement in the room, reducing the amount of distortion caused by waves surrounding the cabinet and making them easier to use. Of course, we are continually refining our products to make them some of the best in the world.
Of course, we believe speakers are meant for enjoyment. This means we work hard on aesthetics as well as reducing your worry and providing great sound.
